Color PalettesCityDesk limits authors to eight colors so that site designers can choose colors from a palette which is harmonious with the graphic design of the templates. The designer can choose to make available any eight colors.
To control which colors are available:
Make sure you are in Designer Mode.
In the main window, choose View » Color Palette, or click on the Color Palette tool:
PaletteA dialog will appear showing the current eight colors.
To change any color:
Click on the solid color button that you wish to change.
Choose one of the basic colors and click OK.
If the exact color you want is not one of the basic colors:
Click Define Custom Colors.
Specify the exact color you want and click Add to Custom Colors
Click OK.
When you have finished setting up the colors you want:
Click OK.
This will change the eight colors that are available from the build-in CityDesk article editor. It will not change the color of any existing text.
