Command Line ArgumentsWhen CityDesk is run from the command line you can use arguments to publish automatically or to open a particular article for editing.
CITYDESK.EXE [ citydeskfile [ /PUBLISH location [ /RESULTS file ]]]
citydeskfile - Path to a .CTY file to open initially. If omitted the last file edited will be reopened.
/PUBLISH location - Instead of bringing up the main CityDesk window, just publish the file citydeskfile to the location named location
/RESULTS file - If specified, all publish results will go in a file named file
CITYDESK.EXE htmlfile
Scans htmlfile to see if it was generated by CityDesk; if so try to open the appropriate CTY and article.
