Working on Teams

CityDesk can be used by teams of any size, with up to 255 people working simultaneously. Each person runs their own copy of CityDesk at their own desk, accessing the same file over Windows file sharing.

To set up CityDesk for teams:

  Store the CityDesk file on a server or another computer which is always available.

  Have each member of the team open the same file over the network.

CityDesk automatically keeps everybody's changes synchronized. However, your "view" of the database will not always be updated to show other people's changes until you request it.

To see other people's changes:

  In the main window, choose View » Refresh.

Note: Multiuser access requires the Professional Edition of CityDesk.
