Testing in Other Web BrowsersNot all web browsers are alike. In many cases there are slight differences between the way they display the same web page, so you may want to preview your site using different browsers to make sure it looks the way you intended.

When you publish or preview your site, a button appears allowing you to display it in a browser. When CityDesk is newly installed, this list only contains Internet Explorer.To add another web browser to the list:
Preview your site as usual.
When the Internet Explorer button appears, click on the down-arrow to the right of it and choose Configure Menu.
The Configure Preview dialog will appear.
Click on the Add button.
In the Name box, type a meaningful name for the web browser you wish to add.
In the Location box, type the full path of the web browser, or click Browse to find it. You'll have to find the actual executable file for the web browser in question.
In the Parameters box, type the command-line arguments which are required by the web browser to display a particular URL. Use %1 to represent the URL. (CityDesk will replace %1 with the actual URL automatically.)
For most web browsers, you will want to type "%1" here, with the quotation marks, which will insure that if the URL contains spaces, it is still passed to the web browser correctly.
Click OK .
If you want to add any more browsers, click Add again. Otherwise click Done.
To remove a web browser from the list:
Preview your site as usual.
When the Internet Explorer button appears, click on the down-arrow to the right of it and choose Configure Menu.
The Configure Preview dialog will appear.
Select the web browser you wish to delete and click Delete.
If you want to delete any more browsers, repeat the previous step. Otherwise click Done.
To modify the properties of a web browser on the list:
Preview your site as usual.
When the Internet Explorer button appears, click on the down-arrow to the right of it and choose Configure Menu.
The Configure Preview dialog will appear.
Select the web browser you wish to modify and click Edit, or just double-click the web browser in the list.
Modify any of the properties as desired.
If you want to modify any more browsers, repeat the previous step. Otherwise click Done.
