The Audiences DialogThe Audiences Dialog controls the list of audiences for which your site is published (see Creating a Site for Different Audiences for more on this).
To display the Audiences Dialog:
Make sure you are in Designer Mode.
In the main window, choose View » Audiences or click on the Audiences tool in the toolbar:
AudiencesA list of audiences appears.
To add a new audience to the site:
Click Add.
Type a name for the audience and click OK.
To rename an audience:
Select the audience and click Rename.
Edit the name of the audience and click OK.
To delete a audience from the site:
Select the audience and click Delete. Confirm the dialog.
This will delete all articles which are uniquely targeted at that audience from your site irrevocably. If you have spent the last 16 years writing 2,000,000 articles which are only shown to the Staff audience, and you delete Staff, you just lost 2,000,000 articles permanently. So make sure you know what you're doing. (And keepbackups!)
When you have finished:
Click Done.
