CityDesk 2.0-Documentation
Lesson 9 - Making Backups of Your SiteTo avoid accidental data loss, you should make frequent backups of your site. CityDesk has a built-in automatic feature to do this, but you have to turn it on or it can't help you!
Because CityDesk stores your entire site in one big file, making a backup is simply a matter of copying your file to a safe location.
To make a backup, choose File » Backup Site. You are asked for a folder where you want to keep the backup, and how many old backups to keep in that location. Check the "Make Backups Automatically When Closing" button; now whenever you exit CityDesk a backup will be made.
Well, that's the end of our tutorial! You know enough about CityDesk to be dangerous. For everything else, we have complete documentation. Enjoy!
