Publishing Stops When CityDesk Can't Delete a File From the Server
Symptoms: If CityDesk tries to delete a file on the web server, and is unable to delete it for some reason (for example, someone else has already deleted that file), publishing stops.
Solution: Delete the citydesk.xml file on your web server and republish.
(Note: The file citydesk.xml stored on the web server contains a list of what files CityDesk last uploaded.)
Details: Whenever you manually delete a file or article from CityDesk, the next time you publish, CityDesk will try to delete that file from the web server. If the file is not there, some ftp servers return an error. CityDesk mistakenly interprets this to mean that something is wrong with the ftp server and gives up.
This bug exists in all CityDesk versions up to 1.0.29. It has been fixed in version 1.0.31 (Service Pack 2).
