Search Fields Other Than the Bug Title

If you are using FogBugz On Demand, disregard this guide; full text searching is already set up in FogBugz On Demand.  This article is meant for Licensed FogBugz.

Full text searching is available if you are using SQL Server as your database. Performing a full text search in Access is so painfully slow that it's practically impossible, so it is not enabled in FogBugz. To allow full text searching using SQL server, you must turn on full text indexing in the database.

Note: In version 3.0.15 and later, you can force FogBugz to search the Access version by changing the following registry key to a value of 1:

HKLM\Software\Fog Creek Software\FogBugz\[path to fogbugz]\fFullTextSearchOK
