Using FogBUGZ With Source Control Systems 

FogBUGZ can be integrated with popular source control systems. This creates a two-way link: when you're looking at a bug, you can see the list of code changes and checkins associated with it, and when you're looking at a checkin, you can see which bug it was meant to fix.

If you don't already have source control, Fog Creek Software highly recommends CVS. It is free, and available from http://www.cvshome.org. On all but the largest projects, it works just as well as more expensive source control systems and is extremely reliable.
