Recommended Update for FogBugz Mailboxes

We recommend that all users of FogBugz for Windows get the latest version of DartMail.dll.

This applies in particular if you are running FogBugz on Windows 2003.

DartMail.dll is used by FogBugz to pull emails from a POP3 client into the FogBugz database.

  1. Click here to download the DART update wizard, called MailTool.exe.
  2. Stop both IIS and the Fog Creek Dispatcho service (so that the Dart DLLs are no longer in use).
  3. Run MailTool.exe (which will install and register the new DLLs).
  4. Restart IIS and the Dispatcho service.
  5. Read the bottom of this article .
  6. If after the update, you get a message that your Dart license has expired:
    Log into FogBugz as an admin, and click the Site link, top right. Submit that page (you don't have to change anything). It will rewrite the licenses to your registry.
