FogBugz for Your Server Licenses
FogBugz for your Server is licensed based on the total number of named users with currently active accounts.
Who needs a License?
Anyone who needs to edit a case, see its status, or have a case assigned to them needs to have a license. You do not need a license in order to submit a case to FogBugz. This can be done either by sending an email to a FogBugz mailbox, or by bringing up FogBugz without being logged in and using the interface to submit a new case to a project that you have set to "allow public submissions". Purchasing Additional Licenses
You can return to the Online Store and purchase add-on licenses at any time. Once you've done this, you do not need to reinstall FogBugz — just add the new licenses to your current installation and begin using them right away.
How many Licenses do I need?
Every account you create in FogBugz counts as one user. Every active user requires a license.
Your first purchase comes with a free administrator account. So for example, if you buy the 10 pack in your first purchase, 11 user accounts can be created in FogBugz.
Disabled Accounts
Any account can be disabled at any time. Disabled accounts won't count towards the license count. The account can later be re-enabled. This allows you to recycle licenses that were used by someone who left, etc.
