CityDesk 2.0-Documentation
Using Right-to-Left Languages

CityDesk allows to compose text written in virtually any language, including languages which read from right to left such as Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi, and Urdu.

To use a right to left language:

*  Set the "Right to Left" checkbox for the language in theLanguages dialog box.

*  Edit the template you wish to use for the right to left text. Set the document direction to "right to left" by choosing Format » Text Direction » Document » Right to Left. This makes the entire document right to left.

Now all articles in that language will automatically assume right-to-left text.

If you need to change the direction of a single paragraph or a few paragraphs, without changing the direction of the entire file:

*  With templates and HTML files, select the paragraphs you want to change and use the Format » Text Direction » Block command on the menu.

*  Inside articles, select the paragraphs you want to change and use the Format » Text Direction command on the menu.
